I’m a North Carolina–based media and communications professional currently working full time as a digital court reporter, with additional experience covering higher education as the State Reporter for the James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal.
My background is in journalism and public-facing communication, with an emphasis on accuracy, clarity, and making complex information accessible. I graduated from UNC–Chapel Hill in 2024 with a degree in Media and Journalism and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).
I got my start at The Daily Tar Heel, where I reported for the University desk and later worked as an assistant editor on the audio desk. I’ve also worked as an audio reporter for The Hill WCHL radio station in Chapel Hill and interned with the Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media, contributing to writing, interviews, audio projects, and social media content. For the past year, I’ve worked as a Digital Court Reporter for Esquire Deposition Solutions.
Across legal, policy, and media settings, I’ve developed skills in storytelling, editing, audio production, and audience-focused communication. I’m interested in communications, marketing, and public affairs roles, particularly in collaborative environments where clear messaging and strong storytelling are valued.
I’m always happy to connect with others working in media and communications around the Triangle. Go Tar Heels!
